The Kitty II

So they ask me, Young boy, what you gonna do the second time around?
How you goin comeback?
I try told them -- I come back like 32; I jump back like 33
That's nothing. This is the Carter II, people.
This is the Carter II.

So I drove up to Roswell, Ga., OTP, to see a kitty. Baze, one of the photographers, had been telling me for a few months that I should adopt him.

But I kept telling him I already had a cat.

When Susanne's elderly cats had to be put to sleep, I offered this kitty to her but she didn't want to raise a new cat plus her new pup.

So today, days after putting poor Kuro to sleep, I made the trip. The young kitty is cute, comes from a nice suburban home.

I've felt that Kuro wouldn't mind me providing another home for a kitty, especially one as laid back as he was. Plus I need two kitty R2 units to fly the poker machine.

So I picked him up, brought him back to my vet in Decatur. It was a little weird being back there, especially with another cat, but he did fine. And tested against disease fine.

He's standing up looking at the poker table that's leaned up against the wall.

Clonie is not overly hostile, but definitely cautious.

His name? Forrest, after pro Ted Forrest, in keeping with Poker Cats' names.

Pictures forthcoming.
